All proceeds from ticket sales go to supporting the continued work of Next Gen Men in building a future where boys & men feel less pain\, and cause less harm. \n“Boys will be boys.” \nWe’ve all heard it a thousand times. It’s been used to ignore or excuse aggressive or stereotypical behaviour from boys or men. But what are we really saying\, when we use that phrase? That boys are one way\, that they can’t grow\, that we shouldn’t expect much from them? DESCRIPTION:Join Masculinity: under construction and The Atelier for our “first” movie night! \nEveryone is welcome to attend this event. \nWe are going to watch the documentary “A better man”\, by Attiya Khan. See: https://abettermanfilm.com/\nThe documentary follows Attiya Khan\, when she revisits the man she was in a relationship with\, and who abused her. She discusses the relationship and abuse with him\, hoping that he will take responsibility and that she can find closure. \nAfter watching the documentary\, we will have a guided discussion. \nThis event is free\, although a contribution for the Atelier will be appreciated. The Atelier is fully accessible. \nThis will take place in the Atelier.
